This is why we all need that person(s) on our team who thinks completely differently from our existing thought process.
They play the devils advocate most times but they are not enemies of the business. Infact, successful businesses intentionally hire them.
Petty and insecure leaders become threatened by such innovative thinkers that they scheme to exit them from the business.
Look for creative people who aren’t constrained by the assumed limitations and mental schemas of your own professional world. These are people who may know just little of your field, but may be more likely to come up with breakthrough thinking.
